Let us introduce ourselves

Paysanne was opened in 1988 by my parents, Bob & Barbara Ross. Mum was a devotee of Elizabeth David and her love of simple, provincial French cookery. While she presented her dishes to the good people of North Wales, Dad kept their glasses topped up with wines sourced directly from small independent French vineyards. They retired to live in South West France in 2003, from where they still regularly dispatch their latest bottled discoveries. I took over the reins after they retired, and am now running it along with head chef David Hughes

We have over thirty-five years of experience in the art of wining and dining our guests. We hope very much that you’ll join us soon.
